I contacted Hub City Electricians after we had the beginnings of a fire in a electronically controlled outlet which had blown a fuse. After reviewing electricians on Google I noticed that Hub City Electricians had great reviews for both customer service and professional ethics, I was not disappointed ! I called and made an appointment and Richard arrived exactly as scheduled. He accessed the problem, gave me a quote for changing not only the one outlet but two others of the same type that may become a risk. As it turned out there was a second one that was beginning to become faulty. His work was more than what was required with both safety and aesthetics in mind. I found him to be extremely if not overly thorough. I was a pleasure doing business with him. Personally I think he didn't charge enough for his services.

Richard of Hub City Electricians was on time, communicated everything very well, and was very thorough. A true professional I would highly recommend!

This is my go to electrician now. I have used him twice in a week. There is a ton of value in the pricing considering the professionalism, knowledge, troubleshooting abilities, friendliness, cleanliness, timely, work, and the quality of the completed job. Look no further.

I highly recommend Richard and Hub City Electric! I had 2 electrical problems fixed and a dryer electric line and plug installed. Richard came out and gave me an estimate with a really good price.! He got the parts and did a Fantastic Job! The price was honest and fair and the best I’ve found. He guarantees his work and Richard called back and checked to make sure everything was good! You won’t find that kind of Service anywhere. I will be using Hub City again!! I’m recommending them to all my Family and Friends!!

Hub City Electricians was amazing to work with on our renovation project! They showed up when they said they would, their pricing was reasonable, and they were very prompt with their communication. Richard went above and beyond with his work; we would highly recommend this company!

The man who installed my ceiling fan was very polite he was on time he gave me different prices and let me know everything I needed to know before I went through with my purchase I give him 5 stars I will definitely do business with hub-city again in the future

Richard did a fantastic job installing a new bathroom vent, lighting and updating the wiring in my small bathroom. He really exceed my exceptions from his professionalism, workmanship, attitude, knowledge and cost. He is coming back out this week to clean-up the breakers and wiring connections in my panel. You will not find a better electrician in Upstate, South Carolina. I would argue Hub City Electricians is probably one of the best in the Carolina's and Georgia.

Excellent response and service! Owner, Richard, clearly has the knowledge and experience to get the job done. Had them come out to add lighting to my garage and newly remodeled kitchen. Lots of work and they made me confident it would all be covered. Richard works quickly, neatly and clearly has a passion for his craft. Will use again!

This guy is one the best companies you cal go to. I wasn’t able to pay him for his service and he still offered to come out and check out the problem. He even walked me through what I was doing wrong throughout my whole time of doing it . All around great guy, and great company. If you need an electrician call this guy don’t call anyone else !

Richard was an integral part of helping us remodel our kitchen. He provided my wife and myself with valuable information to get the most out of our kitchen lighting and power needs. Richard was able to be flexible, patient, and professional. He rewired our entire kitchen, installing new outlets, overhead lights, as well as over and under cabinet lighting. Richards help our lighting cans to be adjustable to meet the mood of the event. We will call Richard for any of our electrical needs.

I’m very pleased with the quick and high quality Rich with Hub City did on our house. Rich took the time to explain our situation and offered a few routes we could take. He swapped out our old sketchy panel with a new one, relocated some receptacles, switched out a few ceiling fans, and troubleshot some mysterious problems we were having with switches and tripping breakers. The second time he came back he hooked up the charger for our new Tesla. He is super friendly, smart, and offers very fair pricing for the high quality work. I feel like I can call him anytime and get an honest opinion on whatever electrical issues we’re having. We couldn’t recommend him more!

Richard is hands down one of the most thorough and by the book electricians I have ever worked with. He came up with a lot of costsavings solutions for the job we were working on while also remaining on time and super flexible with our custom needs due to the age of the building we were working on. He knew all the code requirements on command and was super helpful with inspectors and local utility meter men. Overall, he is an outstanding contractor and I wish I had him on every project I manage! 

Had some electrical issues at my house, Richard had everything repaired and power back on same day. Really efficient and knowledgeable!
